POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Community Outreach & Research Intern
Summer 2026 · Part-Time · Independent Contractor · Flexible Schedule
About The BabyFund
The BabyFund has a single urgent mission: making sure every family — especially those in underserved communities — knows about and claims the federal investment account available to every qualifying newborn in America. These accounts provide $1,000 at birth that grows over time, and yet the families who need them most are often the last to hear about them. We are volunteer-powered and community-driven. Everyone here believes every baby deserves a financial head start.
The Opportunity
This is a real job with real responsibilities and real pay. You will be on the front lines of The BabyFund's outreach — contacting community organizations, dropping off brochures, following up with families, and helping build the infrastructure of a brand new organization. Nothing here is busy work. Every task you complete directly connects a family to a benefit their baby is entitled to.
This role is designed for someone ready to grow. You will develop skills in professional communication, organization, independent problem-solving, digital tools including AI, and personal financial literacy — skills that will serve you for the rest of your life.
